We went in search of ancient oaks in the one of the many rainforests of Snowdonia. The forecast was changeable with heavy bursts of rain throughout the day. So where better than a forest to go in search of a photograph in such conditions.
Equipped with waterproofs, storm brolley, and camera kit I hiked through forested hills for a good four hours. It was hard work but worth it in the end, as I did get some good shots and I got to meet quite a few of Snowdonia ancient oaks. Lovely old fellas every last one of them!
