Photographed early November 2021 on mild autumnal morning. The conditions were perfect for forest photography; there was no wind and the foliage was wet, adding depth to both forest colours and textures.
I love discovering new woodland and the autumnal season not only offers fantastic hues and texture to capture but also offers you the chance to access the parts of a woodland that was inaccessible during the summer months due to the heavy foliage; it opens out in autumn and you see parts of woodland you couldn’t see previously, which offers the opportunity to get off the paths and tracks to go exploring deeper into the woodland.
