I decided to use the coastline to lead the eye into the scene and onto the lighthouse, with the back drop of a moody sunset, further to this I decided to use a long exposure technique using a circular polariser and a 6 stop ND filter and exposed the shot for 53 seconds to create further interest with the sea, which I think the finished product worked rather well.
